Wheel Thrown vessel made with stoneware clay.
Before bisque fired I apply 5x coats of Terra Sigillata to the body of the piece.
Polishing with plastic or glad wrap after each coat to give the vessel a smooth polished surface.
The piece is heated until white hot and I have added Horsehair, from its mane.
To protect this piece I have added Liquid Quartz to the interior and exterior surfaces.
